DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Training
Desktop computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones and even smart watches - for most of us, this technology has become part and parcel of modern life, both at work and in leisure time.
When used for work, employers have legal obligations to identify, assess and manage any risks linked to DSE use. Traditionally, health risks have included musculoskeletal disorders (aches and pains), work-related stress and visual fatigue. We now also understand more about the importance of regular movement & changes of posture throughout the day, and breaking up any long spells of sitting.
Our DSE training services are offered through our sister brand, DSE Scotland. Established in 2013, DSE Scotland provides accredited training for both DSE assessors (staff who carry out DSE risk assessments, also called desk or workstation assessments) and DSE Users (colleagues who use computer technology at work). Our primary courses are accredited by the prestigious Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors. We work with organisations of all kinds, from multi-national corporations to national and local governments, small businesses and private individuals.
